Out On Film is produced annually by IMAGE Film & Video Center. IMAGE (Independent Media Artists of Georgia, Etc.) was founded in 1977 and today is one of the most respected not-for-profit media arts centers in the country. IMAGE's mission is to build and support a strong media arts community in Atlanta and the Southeast by promoting the production, exhibition, and public awareness of film and video and unique forms of artistic expression. In addition to presenting Out On Film, IMAGE also produces the Atlanta Film Festival, and offers screenings, workshops, monthly salons, and additional service.
